Purcari is the most popular winery among Moldovan wine producers, being a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. The estate is located in the Purcari wine region, south of the country.
The winery’s heritage dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won more than 250 medals in international competitions such as “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, and many other international competitions.

Viticulture
Crafted with a sustainable and reasoned approach to viticulture, Cabernet Sauvignon de Purcari is grown with deep respect for the environment, the unique terroir of the Purcari region, and the natural life cycles of the vine. Winemaking
After careful hand-harvesting, the grapes are fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
