History
Château Purcari, established in 1827, is one of Moldova’s most esteemed wineries. Known for its dedication to craftsmanship and innovation, Purcari blends traditional methods with modern expertise to create exceptional wines.
Purcari is a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. It is also the most awarded winery in Central and Eastern Europe.
The estate’s heritage dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won hundreds of medals in international competitions such as “Effervescents du Monde”, “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, and many other important world wine contests.
Viticulture
The grapes for the Cuvée de Purcari White Brut are carefully selected from Purcari’s vineyards, located in Moldova’s prime terroirs.

Vinification
Cuvée de Purcari White Brut is crafted using the traditional method, also known as Méthode Champenoise.
For this delicious Cuvée de Purcari White Brut, the finest terroirs are merged in an exceptional blend of 60% Chardonnay, 25 % Pinot Blanc, 15 % Pinot Noir, with a longterm carreful maturation in bottles.
Medium-dry, with moderate alcohol level, high acidity and smooth tannins.

Cuvée de Purcari White Brut has a golden tint, citrus flavors and a complex taste with peach nuances. Surprisingly and pleasantly sparkling, instantly seductive and velvety wine. A delicious nose of sweet fruits: yellow apple, lemon, apricot, butter, candied peach, yellow mirabelle, pomelo, pineapple. Very appealing, noble and elegant, it tastes creamy, fruity and round.
Perfectly paired with shrimp and shellfish, smoked salmon, caviar, fried calamari, oysters, salami, veggies, stuffed mushrooms, egg dishes, foie gras, fruit-based desserts such as tarts, crepes, and any buttered or honeyed dessert.
Serve chilled at 6-8°C to fully enjoy its refined taste.
