Vintage 2020
History
Château Purcari is a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. It is also the most awarded winery in Central and Eastern Europe.
The estate’s history dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won more than 250 medals in international competitions such as “Effervescents du Monde”, “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, and many other important world wine contests.

Tasting
Deep and noble purple color wine, with a complex and intense bouquet, with notes of blue plum, ripe blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, sour cherry, blackcurrant, touches of leather, raspberry, violets.
Deep, velvety taste with ample notes of delicate tannins and a long, sensual finish. The blend has a very nice balance between fruit and wood. The woody notes slightly dominates over the variety of flavours, but still fusion together into a fruity-savory mix of
aromas, to gain more grip on the finish, excellently mixing power and finesse.
Perfect with hot meat dishes like pork steaks, juicy cooked veal cutlets and other grilled dishes.
Serve at 18-20°C.
Decant 30 minutes before service.
