History
Purcari is a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. The estate is located in the Purcari wine region, south of the country.
The winery’s history dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won more than 250 medals in international competitions such as “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, and many other international competitions.
Purcari is the most awarded winery in Central and Eastern Europe.
Viticulture

Winemaking
Made from 100% Pinot Noir.

Tasting
The purplish red color is accompanied by a variety bouquet with complex aromas of strawberries, raspberries and violets. Velvety taste, full, persistent, passing in an aftertaste with fine nuances of maturation. Pinot Noir by Purcari is a light and delicate wine like fine silk.
Perfect with Gruyère de Comté cheese, venison, mushrooms, and asparagus.
