History
Château Purcari is recognized as the most popular winery among Moldovan wine makers, being a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. Estate located in the Purcari wine region.
In 2021, the property has won 333 medals in international competitions such as “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “Challenge International du Vin”, “Effervescents du Monde” and other international competitions. All these appreciations make Purcari the most awarded estate in Central and Eastern Europe and even in the world.
Viticulture

Vinification
100% Chardonnay. The grapes come from the estate’s vineyards planted near the Black Sea, which provides a refreshing influence and helps to preserve the aromas and the freshness of this white wine. Manual harvesting only. Aged 6 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting
This “Chardonnay” is a dry, fresh, floral and fruity white wine, produced according to traditional methods. Light golden color with fine amber nuances. With an excellent aromatic balance, this wine offers a rich bouquet, dominated by flowers and delicious exotic fruits.
The taste is complex, captivating, refreshing, very pleasant, with a well-balanced acidity, expressing notes of vanilla and almonds. Full and round mouth, with a harmonious fat and a superb length in the mouth.
Perfect with fish dishes, shellfish, salads, chicken, fresh cheese and grilled vegetables. Serve at 10-12°C.
