History
Château Purcari is recognized as the most popular winery among Moldovan wine makers, being a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. Estate located in the Purcari wine region.
In 2021, the property has won 333 medals in international competitions such as “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “Challenge International du Vin”, “Effervescents du Monde” and other international competitions. All these appreciations make Purcari the most awarded estate in Central and Eastern Europe and even in the world.
Viticulture
Reasoned wine culture with respect for the environment and the natural cycles of the terroir and the vine.
Vinification
60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Rara Neagră. The grapes come from the estate’s vineyards planted near the Black Sea, which provides a refreshing influence and helps to preserve the aromas and the freshness of this rosé wine. Manual harvesting only.
Tasting
This “Rosé” is a dry, fresh, floral and fruity wine, made according to the traditional methods. The pink color is accompanied by a delicate scent of red and exotic fruits. The palate presents notes of apricot, juicy peach and cassis, which slowly but surely evolve into a finish dominated by wild berries and currants.
The taste is delicate, captivating, refreshing, very pleasant, with a well-balanced acidity, expressing notes of flowers and hints of raspberry. Light, full and round wine, with a remarkable length in the mouth and very easy to drink.
Perfect with tapas, Mediterranean dishes, hard or fresh cheeses and fish dishes.
Serve at 10-12°C.
