Description

Kvint Divin XO Extra Old is a refined 10-year-aged Moldovan brandy, known locally as Divin.

Crafted from 8 white grape varieties, including Bianca, Aligote, Ugni Blanc, Riesling, Colombard, and others, it undergoes double distillation in Charentais pot stills, just like French Cognac. This golden spirit is harmonious and well-balanced, with classic “Divin tones” of dried fruit, soft oak, and vanilla, making it ideal both for sipping and for cocktails.

Produced by Kvint, Moldova’s most prestigious distillery (est. 1897), this brandy represents the best of Eastern European savoir-faire in grape distillation.

History

Located on the same latitude as Bordeaux, Moldova has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world, with vineyards dating back more than 5,000 years. Thanks to its exceptional terroir and generations of know-how, the country has become a rising star on the international wine scene.

In recent years, Moldovan wines have won hundreds of prestigious medals at leading global competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Vinarium, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition. These accolades confirm Moldova as one of the best destinations for premium wines in Eastern Europe. With 2,000 ha of estate vineyards and full control from vine to bottle, Kvint’s Divin spirits are crafted to international Cognac standards.

The XO (Extra Old) is aged for a full decade in French oak barrels, gaining remarkable depth, a velvety texture, and layers of dried fruit, spice, and toasted wood—while preserving an elegant freshness.

Selected with care by Maison Tanase, official importer of Moldova’s top wines and spirits in France and Europe, this bottle reflects the unique character and refinement of the region’s grapes.
