History
Moldova has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world, with vineyards dating back more than 5,000 years.
Thanks to its exceptional terroir and generations of know-how, the country has become a rising star on the international wine scene.
In recent years, Moldovan wines have won hundreds of prestigious medals at leading global competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Vinarium, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition. Viticulture & Winemaking
The vineyards are located near Nisporeni, in central Moldova, on south-west-facing slopes with clay-sandy soils.
With yields limited to approximately 8 tonnes per hectare, the grapes benefit from favorable growing conditions and careful vineyard management.
Traditional winemaking techniques are combined with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15°C, preserving the grape’s natural freshness and delicate floral aromas.
Tasting
Aurelius Feteasca Regala displays a bright yellow color with delicate green reflections.
The nose reveals predominantly floral aromas, complemented by notes of dried fruits. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with subtle exotic fruit flavours and refreshing balance.
Food Pairing: Perfect with grilled fish, seafood, shellfish, fresh salads, white meats and Mediterranean cuisine. Also excellent as an aperitif.
Serve chilled at 8–10°C to fully appreciate its freshness and delicate aromas.
