Vintage 2011


Château Mayne Lalande is a must-have wine produced in the Listrac appellation in Médoc, Bordeaux.

Since 1975, and after six generations, Bernard Lartigue, winemaker and master of the estate, has been able to perpetuate the Médoc values specific to his family heritage on his Bordeaux vineyard.

Rigorous, demanding, perfectionist, the team in this area is always looking for excellence. Determined to obtain the best potential from this 22-hectare property, the estate was able to produce a great wine, with a very long aging potential while retaining its belonging to the terroir and developing a unique signature and identity.


The knowledge of its 42 plots (gravel and clay-limestone soil) and respect for traditional tillage have enabled the team of the château to achieve the right balance between powerful aromas and elegant structures. Behind its great wines lies the authenticity of the Listrac terroir.

The blending is made of: Cabernet-Sauvignon 60%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet franc 5%, Petit Verdot 5%. The perfect knowledge of the terroir allows respect for each of the plots and the production of rich and aromatic wines.

Aging in 50% new barrels between 12 and 16 months, with an aging capacity of between 5 and 10 years.


Complex, the nose reveals delicate aromas of very ripe red fruits, but also of flowers (violet), associated with animal and toasted notes.

In the mouth, a nice substance develops and the tannins are melted. Intense fruity and liquorice aromas unfold with finesse with a delicious and elegant palate.

Perfect with game, grilled red meat, grilled white meat, hard cheese, beef steak, duck breasts, mushroom tart.

Serve at 17-18°C
