History
Château Purcari is a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova.
The estate’s history dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won more than 250 medals in international competitions such as “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, “Effervescents du Monde” and many other international competitions.
Viticulture

Vinification
Alb de Purcari is a refined and elegant white wine crafted from 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Grigio, and 5% Pinot Blanc.
The grapes are carefully sourced from estate vineyards near the Black Sea, benefiting from a cooling maritime influence that preserves the wine’s vibrant aromatics and crisp freshness.
Harvested exclusively by hand, the wine undergoes six months of aging in French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity, gentle toast, and a refined texture without overpowering the varietal character.

Alb de Purcari reveals a beautiful light golden color with delicate green highlights. On the nose, it opens with a complex bouquet of green apple, honeysuckle, and ripe stone fruits, perfectly complemented by subtle floral and citrus nuances.
