History
Château Purcari is a leader in the production of premium wines in Moldova. It is also the most awarded winery in Central and Eastern Europe.
The estate’s history dates back to the 19th century when French settlers partnered with local monks to begin planting Bordeaux varieties here, alongside the indigenous grape varieties.
Over the years, Purcari has won more than 250 medals in international competitions such as “Effervescents du Monde”, “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “International Wine & Spirits Competition”, “Challenge International du Vin”, and many other important world wine contests.

The light golden straw color emanates a fresh fragrance with light notes of green apple and pear. The fruity taste is refreshing, pleasant, with well balanced acidity, very round, and showing harmonious taste and a long persistence in the mouth.
Perfect with dishes of fish, shellfish, chicken, hard cheese and grilled vegetables.
Serve at 10-12°C.
